Fathers day isn't far away

Hello, I have been busy making a few fathers day cards.   I thought I would share them with you.  especially as one is made with an image my daughter (Agirlwhocrafts).

Card number one was inspired by an article in paper crafter and is for my Father in Law.   I used some papers I got from Payper box a the NEC show back in March.

This Second card is for my amazing Grandfather, I used some photography images as one of my favourite Child hood memories of him is, when he was in his dark room showing me the magic of developing photo's.

Last but by no means least is a joint effort card by myself and my Daughter for my Dear husbands fathers day card.   The image was drawn and coloured by Bex and I just put the card together for her.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my Blog.

Playing with Miss Betty

The lovely sunshine at the weekend meant that whilst I made these two cards I never managed to find time to blog them.  I made them using Music Notes Rio and Ice Queen from Simply Betty Stamps.  I hope you like them I really loved Colouring and creating them for a challenge running over on the Simply Betty face book fan page.

Music Notes Rio

Ice Queen

I coloured both images using my trusty pro markers,
Music Notes Rio, I teamed up with some backing card from my crafty stash, mat and layered her with some black Mirror Board from Creata. The Challenge was to keep use Black, Whit and one other colour.  I chose Blue as it's one of my favourite colours.

Ice Queen, I took an 8x8 card Blank and used a spellbinder die to cut out the corners.  Behind that I placed some black and whit gingham paper to give some depth.  The spotty purple velum is some my husband brought back from Japan for me.   The flowers are some I brought and Michael's and brought back from the US and finally I used a little bit of Creata black Mirror board to mat and layer the sentiment and frame the image.

I have entered Music Notes Rio into this weeks I love Pro markers challenge.

Back from Holidays

Good morning,
We are back from our holidays and what a fabulous time we had.   I think my Body clock is nearly back to Normal.   I'll soon find out tomorrow when I have to go back to my day job.  While I was away I spotted cutest Disney Scrap booking kit all themed on one of my favourite stops. Castaway Cay.   So I thought I would team it with a free Disney colouring page I found and make this little card. I added a little bit of Creata Mirror board to give the die cut frame a sunny feel, Some Crab embellishments and stripey backing paper from my stash.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:
